Award-winning Kitchen design

Minosa Design, a small business in Sydney, always manages to impress the kitchen-designers’ fraternity. This time they have won the top spot for the best international project at the UK’s Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Awards 2014.

The awards are organised by UK trade magazine Designer Kitchen & Bathroom. The ceremony is held at the high-end Thames riverside pop-up events venue, Supernova, in London Embankment Garden. This year, the event was hosted by British television and radio presenter, Georgie Thompson, and was attended by 400 of the UK kitchen and bathroom industry’s most senior figures.

The winning design was a project by Darren Genner and Simona Castagna called Dover Heights Kitchen and Bathroom.

The judges were delighted and excited by the stunning design. They believed that the design fully met their criteria for creativity and boldness. They highlighted the challenging mindset of the entire team at Minosa, which displayed genuine innovation. In addition to this, the judges felt Minosa deserved the award because they handled the integration of space in an excellent way.

In return, Minosa team acknowledged the award and spoke of feeling overwhelmed by gaining recognition outside their native Australia.
